The ongoing feud between rappers Kendrick Lamar and Drake has escalated dramatically, marked by the simultaneous drop of two blistering diss tracks.

Following weeks of verbal jousting, the latest offerings delve into personal territory, hurling accusations of domestic abuse and undisclosed paternity.

Drake’s track, “Family Matters,” insinuates that one of Lamar’s children may not be his own biologically.

In response, Lamar fires back with “Meet The Grahams,” alleging Drake’s addiction to vices such as gambling, sex, drugs, and alcohol.

Drake vehemently denies these allegations, dismissing them as baseless claims.

Released mere minutes apart on a Saturday morning, both tracks take a darker turn compared to previous salvos exchanged in their ongoing feud.

In “Family Matters,” Drake casually suggests Lamar’s involvement in spousal abuse, rapping: “They hired a crisis management team/To clean up the fact that you beat on your queen.” It’s worth noting that Lamar has never faced accusations of domestic violence outside of this song.

The feud’s roots trace back to Drake’s controversial track, “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which utilized Artificial Intelligence to replicate Tupac Shakur’s voice. Following a complaint from Shakur’s estate, the track was removed. Drake accuses Lamar of manipulating the situation behind the scenes in “Family Matters.”

Lamar wastes no time in retaliation. “Meet The Grahams” arrives 20 minutes later, with Lamar directly targeting Drake’s family, including his parents and his six-year-old son, Adonis. Lamar implies Drake’s inadequacy as a father and hints at the possibility of him fathering another child in secret.

Drake responds to the latter accusation on Instagram, humorously seeking his alleged hidden daughter. He dismisses Lamar’s claims with a touch of sarcasm, indicating his perceived absurdity.

Elsewhere in “Meet The Grahams,” Lamar reiterates accusations of Drake’s alleged use of ghostwriters and plastic surgery. He also suggests misconduct within Drake’s record label, OVO, hinting at a specific individual’s troubled past.

The feud between Drake and Lamar traces back to 2013, with Lamar’s subtle jab at Drake during a BET Awards performance. Over the years, tensions flared intermittently, particularly after a declaration by Drake and J Cole as part of rap’s “big three,” to which Lamar responded defiantly.

Despite the acrimony, the feud has been lucrative for both artists, reflected in their continued chart success.
